Doolans is an old, historic stone building with a south facing courtyard. It is close to Falmouth and the Helford River and only about 35 minutes from the North coast. There are two big bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a slipper bath; a large sitting room, big kitchen a separate utility and WC and a very large breakfast room overlooking fields. There are three doors to the south courtyard and plenty of windows; there is also an external curved stone stairway to the north, as well of course as an internal stair hall, some parts of which also have stone treads. The courtyard and other garden areas have natural south facing suntrap sitting places. High ceiling rooms and many historic features including a proper scantle roof. Parking is in the north courtyard with spaces for two cars.
The country house gardens are open for you to visit and there are walks in the area. Please keep your dog on the lead in the country house gardens because of the peacocks.
